Why the lack of diversity behind the camera is a gobal issue

Storytelling helps us understand more about ourselves and the people around us, creating a sense of connection. It also serves as a way to preserve history. That’s why a lack of diversity in films matters because it not only limits the range of stories and perspectives we are given as audiences, but it writes out the diverse history of our world.
